HBM News: 2/14/16-2/20/16

Another week, another news post. I got 2 games that I'm currently playing to write reviews of, and at least one of them will be up this week. However, this post isn't about that, it's about the news of the past week, which there was a decent amount of. So let's get started.

Pokken Tournament: We have some more support Pokemon coming to the game: Cubone, Diglett, Magneton, Quagsire, Espeon, and Umbreon. There's also some new modes that will be Wii U exclusive: Ferrum League, where you lay through 4 ranks of leagues to unlock stages and support Pokemon, with a customizable avatar, Practice Mode, Free Training, where you can learn combos, and My Town, where you can buy stuff for your avatar. Pretty neat.

Mortal Kombat X: The costumes for Kombat Pack 2 were leaked. There will be an Apocalypse skin pack, with outfits for Takeda, D'Vorrah, and Erron Black, as well as a Medieval skin pack, with outfits for Ferra/Torr, Kung Jin, and Kotal Khan. There will also be a Krimson Ermac skin, modeled after the Collector's Edition Scorpion skin, made available separately from the Kombat Pack.
Nintendo Account: You can now register for a Nintendo Account, though at the moment all you can do with it is link it to your Nintendo Network and social media, as well as register for the first Nintendo smartphone game.

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD: The pre-order CD's tracks have been revealed, being 20 "remastered" tracks (I personally can't hear the difference). You can listen to 20-30 second samples on the Japanese website.

So that was the news for the week. Like I said, I'll have at least 1 review up later this week. Here's hoping we get more news (and a Nintendo Direct announcement) this month.

HBM, signing out!
