HBM News: 3/6/16 - 3/12/16

It's yet another week of news. We got a decent amount this week, mostly Street Fighter related stuff, so let's get started.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 2: This week, we learned about the new character Ouka. She comes from a rick family, though she has no powers. One day, she was saved from a powerful thug by Gunvolt, and is now taking shelter with him. She's described as being kind, an airhead, and providing moral support for Gunvolt. So... yeah.

Metroid Prime: Federation Prime: We got confirmation that the game can make use of the Circle Pad Pro and the 3DS's gyro sensor. That;s it.

Street Fighter V: We actually got wuite a bit of news on Street Fighter V this week. First of all, Capcom is working on a way to punish rage-quitters. At the moment, they're docking points from people with high win and high disconnect rates, so that's their temporary solution. Later in the week, we got details on Alex and Challenge Mode. Alex's V-Skill, Overhaul, makes his next hit act as a counter. His V-Trigger, Rage Shift, is a charge-able, guard breaking clothesline. His Critical Art, Heavy Hammer, has him chop his opponent, then grab them and slam them down to the ground. Regarding Challenge Mode, there will be 12 Beginner Tutorials, 11 Intermediate Tutorials, 4 Advanced Tutorials, 16 Character Tutorials per character, Combo Trials for all characters, and Demonstration. Also, the update that releases Alex and Challenge Mode will bring the Shop and various other updates.
The Angry Video Game Nerd II: ASS-Imilation: So, remember how, about half a year ago, ScrewAttack revealed they were making a sequel to their hit game, Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures? Well, it's available to pre-order on Steam. It's coming out on March 29th, and the pre-order gives you a 10% discount, and the soundtrack, That's pretty cool, and I know I'm going to review it.

The Binding Of Isaac: Afterbirth: After what feels like an eternity, Edmund and Tyrone finally confirmed that they'll be submitting the console (Wii U, PS4, XBOne) versions of Afterbirth soon. They're hoping for it to release sometime next month, which is awesome.

Legend of Zelda for Wii U: We finally got an update on this game... though an extremely minor one. Aonuma basically hinted that it might be nearing the end of development, and mentioned that the game has some more western influences than usual. Hopefully, we'll hear more on this game soon.

Ace Attorney Anime: We got a trailer for the upcoming Ace Attorney Anime, showing how it adapts the first case of the first game. We also got confirmation that the premiere will air on April 2nd. So, that's great.
So that's it for this week. I'm expecting it to stay slow for a couple more weeks or so, and I'm fine with that.

HBM, signing out.
